As Alizah gets older she gets smarter and more beautiful BUT she also gets harder to please. Not in the royally spoiled way but a party at the playground is now lame. I must say that I can throw together a pretty good party and every year I improve. This year she had asked me for a party at an ice skating rink. Being a stay at home mom with only daddy's income kinda restricts how large of a party I can afford. I had offered her to bring 2 or 3 girls to the skating rink and then cake and ice cream at home. She was satisfied!
Luckily for me I was able to work with US Family Guide and Sky Zone Trampoline park to throw Alizah a fabulous jumptastic party! The joy that beamed on my child's face when she and all her school friends hung around together waiting on everyone to arrive so that we could start the timer for our jump time. I was walking around listening to the kids talk about this flip that spinning jump kick and how cool place was and how great it was for Alizah to have a party there. My heart was so overjoyed! My Princess felt like a Princess!
I enjoyed watching the kids jump around trying to out jump out flip and out do each other in pure fun. I spotted a couple girls get together to try out the foam pit which is filled with tons of square block foam and a trampoline to get in the pit. The girls started to stack the blocks and try to jump over the blocks and they would add more and laugh as they knock them over jumping in.
A few kids were slam dunking the basketball goals they have set up, and they have 2 different goal heights so that the smaller ones could also be slam dunk basketball pros.
The dodge ball was girls vs boys of course and at the end of the game they all jumped the birthday girl!
Not only did we have a great non-traditional birthday party but the kids also got a great workout and I'm sure a great nights sleep. I will definitely be bringing the kids back for some jump time. I almost forgot about the giant ball made out of the admittance stickers they give you at sign in to let you know your jump time. Now that's alot of jump stickers!
Now I want to share some mom perspectives about my personal experience.
As a mother of 3 I'm always scanning any new place for health hazards. It was very clean and tidy. Bathrooms were nice and well maintained. Water fountain was clean and cold. The location I visited was fairly large and had 2 private party rooms and several small 4 chair round tables, a vending area that sold sodas and snacks, private area with a living room appeal equipped with a comfortable couch and chair with a coffee table.
Friendly and helpful. A big plus was that most of the staff were young, high school age and they had the energy to keep up with the balls for the different jump areas so that the kids didn't have their jump time wasted.
Easy sign in, once your registered sign is easy peasy, the e-waiver signed at registration (print from home or register at in house kiosks) is valid for 12 months.
Having the party hosted was so wonderful. my host was Jessica and she stuck by my side and made the party go as smooth as silk! She eased through the party like a pro. From the timing of the absolutely delicious pizza that they order included in my party package to cutting the cake into exact equal parts. She was like the party fairy always refilling the kids drinks, grabbing their trash and second helpings of pizza.
The areas speak for themselves. There are several areas for the kids to explore. 2 dodge ball courts, basketball, ball pit, free jump, and a toddler area.
Our party package included a jump hour with one of the dodge ball courts and access to 2 other jump areas.
Let the smiles and laughter of the children panting for breath but can't stop flipping and jumping for joy!
As the parents were picking up the party goers I heard many kids tell their parent that they want their birthday party at Sky Zone.
I had a great party package that accommodated 25 kids, included unlimited pitchers of Coca Cola products, 4 pizzas from a local real pizzeria, cake from Byerly's bakery, they supply cups, plates, napkins all necessities. All party jumpers socks were also included, the party favors were reusable Sky Zone water bottles, Sky Zone rubber bracelets, 30 min. free jump time pass, and party package discount coupon. My daughter received a Sky Zone tee too!
